World Quality Month Acknowledges the Efforts, Accomplishments of Quality

MILWAUKEE--()--ASQ, the global voice of quality, is celebrating World Quality Month in November, an annual event that provides business leaders, quality professionals and consumers the opportunity to interact at quality events worldwide.

World Quality Month, in its fourth year, promotes the use of quality tools in businesses and communities, and showcases improved business performance and service quality by reducing waste and producing superior products. World Quality Month calls on people who use quality tools to share stories illustrating the value of quality principles.

In support of World Quality Month, ASQ is hosting worldqualitymonth.org, a website dedicated to the celebration. The site includes case studies, success stories, and a list of events spanning six continents, like one in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, that celebrated the opening of ASQ’s Middle East and North Africa office.

The event allowed attendees to network and hear about best practices from experts in the quality field.

Worldqualitymonth.org allows visitors to download posters and other promotional items in various languages to show their support of quality. ASQ also provides support to its 20 World Partners® quality organizations to continue building awareness of the month-long celebration.

“World Quality Month is an opportunity to showcase the contributions of the quality community and the impact quality has on products, services, and our community as a whole,” said ASQ Chairman John Timmerman. “As the global voice of quality, ASQ offers knowledge and other resources year-round to supports the quality discipline worldwide.”
