HONG KONG -- (BUSINESS WIRE) --
The Red Flag Group, a leader in corporate governance and compliance, has announced that it has joined the Australasian Compliance Institute (ACI) as a Principal Member.
Impressed by ACI's approach to compliance and their focus on the internationally-respected Australian Standard (AS3806), The Red Flag Group decided to join the growing organisation. This partnership will be of mutual benefit to the two organisations, particularly throughout the Asia-Pacific region, where there is a need to help the developing compliance industry.
"The firm liked that there was a focus on building the membership as a compliance 'profession', which is important to us as we assist our clients in developing their own compliance skills and compliance within their companies," said The Red Flag Group's CEO, Scott Lane. "We plan to move up to a hundred of our staff through the ACI's Associate Program, which has consistently been found to be the best compliance programme in the industry.
"We also hope to assist ACI in developing its member base in new markets. The Red Flag Group has a diverse international client base and offices in Asia, the Middle East, North America and Europe. This puts the firm in a great position to expand ACI's membership and increase its brand presence globally."
The recent corruption cases in the mining, energy and resources sectors offered the firm opportunities to help many companies in Australia and New Zealand, adding significant value through their compliance programmes.
Joanne Nabonne, Business Development Director - Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand at The Red Flag Group, said, "The Red Flag Group has extensive experience in this sector in Australia, New Zealand and emerging markets, and can share those experiences by organising in-house trainings and executive roundtables. We will also continue to market and deliver the ACI Associate Program and help to develop compliance professions and networking in this region."
